We support disadvantaged cadets from diverse backgrounds internationally. We want to collaborate with shipowners and maritime charities and maritime clusters to aid us on this mission. By proactively working with diverse cadets we can make a meaningful impact in their education that will in turn make an impact in the need for seafarers worldwide!
We support young cadets in the maritime industry. We want to help them obtain their first sailing position in addition to provide them the financial resources to help them obtain the education to become senior officers. Currently, there is a dearth of seafarers and it will be even greater in the years to come.
Captains Without Borders provides scholarships to cadets towards a maritime education with financial need. Come be a part of our team and make a difference in the world!
At Captains Without Borders, we realize the importance that mariners make in world trade and to the lives of millions of people around the globe. Often, we deliver goods, help stranded vessels, aid in natural disasters, pandemics and seafarers are seldom recognized in the crucial roles they play in world trade.
We would like to help young mariners pursue their dreams, highlight them and appreciate them. Seafarers move 90% of the worlds goods and with no seafarers, there is no shipping! We want to help the next generation to complete their studies and sea time to join the international maritime industry that needs them!
By donating to Captains without Borders, our organization will help seafarers from around globe to cover the costs to volunteer on Mercy Ships, pursue goodwill projects in their communities and obtain recognition nationally and internationally for their efforts. As a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization all donations to Captains without Bordrs are tax deductible. To learn more join our donate page.
